The Stickmany Foundation
Rob Wittmann believed that team sports teach lessons that last a lifetime—resilience, perseverence, discipline, and the deep sense of belonging that comes from being part of something bigger than yourself.
The Stickmany Foundation carries that belief forward by fundraising to bring more team sports opportunities to children in economically disadvantaged towns and cities, ensuring that all kids can experience the same sense of belonging and growth that shaped Rob’s life. This is an especially vital gift in today’s digital world, where face-to-face connection is more essential than ever for kids’ wellbeing.
We also celebrate Rob’s spirit each year through The Stickmany Games, a one-of-a-kind event that brings together some of his favorite things: fishing at first light, backyard games, friendly competition, and a night of live music shared with friends and family. More than just a fundraiser, it’s a day filled with joy, laughter, and connection—the very qualities that defined Rob.
Sports played an enormous role in Rob’s life—from his own years playing Division I lacrosse at Colgate to his many years of coaching youth hockey, lacrosse, and baseball in Hingham. By supporting the Foundation, you help us preserve Rob’s legacy and empower the next generation to thrive through sports, friendship, and community.
